Nova Scotia now provides free online courses for early learning and child care owners, licensees, board members, and directors through Course Park. The courses provided have been selected to support you with some of the tools and skills you need to successfully operate and manage a regulated early learning and child care program.

The Course Park platform will also host the NS Early Learning Curriculum Framework (Capable, Confident and Curious) e-learning course when it becomes available.

The Association of Early Childhood Educators of Nova Scotia (AECENS) is a non-profit membership based society with the goal of professional recognition of its members, who are early childhood educators (ECE’s) in Nova Scotia. NSCCA recognizes that ECEs are the key ingredient in determining quality in early childhood learning and child care programs.

Skills Online Nova Scotia is a partnership between Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and Advanced Education, CBDC & Bluedrop that gives every resident of the province access to thousands of FREE online courses on the most important workplace topics to improve their skills and career prospects.
